Most of our horses are Quarter Horses who are well adapted to this terrain. They are willing, surefooted and have a good disposition combined with impressive athletic ability. Our remuda consists of Flitner bred horses who were born, raised and trained on this terrain as well as horses we have purchased outside the ranch but who have spent a great deal of time on the Hideout Guest Ranch dude string.

To ensure the health of our herd, we routinely rotate horses so that each animal receives adequate rest thus assuring our guests a safe, enjoyable ride each day with a happy, healthy, willing partner.
